Christian communicators gathered Oct. 30-31 at the Bible Society of Mexico in Mexico City for Creativoz 2026, a conference on how churches, ministries and faith-based groups can respond to social media, new technology and artificial intelligence, Christian Daily International reported Nov. 5.
The event was organized by the Alliance of Christian Communicators (Alianza de Comunicadores Cristianos). Jaime López, director of the Bible Society of Mexico, took part in the opening ceremony, according to the report.
Speakers included Pastor Sixto Vicente, Azel Hernández, Neyra Moncayo, a veteran Mexican journalist and content director of ADN40 at TV Azteca, and Fabio Criales, a Colombian digital strategist and journalist. Communicators Pablo Vargas, Dany De los Reyes, Raúl Pérez, Roberto Arroyo and Armando Contreras also led sessions. Plenary talks and workshops covered digital content creation, storytelling and reaching younger generations, with an emphasis on creativity, excellence and commitment to biblical values.
Criales told the gathering that believers “should not see new technologies as an enemy of what we are doing in terms of content,” but should learn to handle them “according to what God establishes.” Christian Daily said he described AI as a tool Christians can use to make digital evangelism work more efficient.
Participants also raised concerns about disinformation, the credibility of information and the responsible use of technology, according to the report. Christian Daily did not give an attendance figure.
