Evening programs begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday, with slides shown each evening. A CAM contact who works in Yemen is scheduled to speak about daily life in that war-torn country and how supporters' gifts are being used there. The ministry did not name the speaker.
On Saturday, a CAM Foundation seminar is set for 8 a.m. and a search-and-rescue demonstration for 9 a.m., followed at 10 a.m. by daytime sessions in which staff members will report on CAM's work around the world.
Visitors will also be able to tour a new exhibit area that the ministry said will open in time for the event. CAM described the displays as informative, edifying and interactive, focused on both spiritual and physical poverty.
Christian Aid Ministries' mailing address is P.O. Box 360, Berlin, Ohio. Its recent reports have described food distributions in Malawi, hunger in war-torn Sudan, and aid to families facing winter in Ukraine. A one-page agenda for the Open House is posted on the ministry's website.
